There are 200 scholarships available for young people interested in pursuing STEM-related courses in Higher National Diploma (HND) at Technical and Vocation Education and Training institutions for the academic year 2024/2025.

Eligibility Criteria for TVET Bursaries at FAWE Ghana Chapter.

The applicant must be aged between 15-25 years at the time of applying.
The applicant must have sat his/her West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Education (WASSCE) or Certificate 2 examinations in 2021, 2022 , 2023 and 2024.
Applicants should have an admission letter from one of the partner institutions listed below to pursue a 3-year TVET course in Higher National Diploma (HND) or a 2-year Diploma course in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-related field.
Partner Institutions:
• Takoradi Technical University
• Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development
• Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University
• Bolgatanga Technical University
• Ho Technical University
• Cape Coast Technical University
The applicant must come from any of the program regions: Northern, Northeast, Oti, Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, and Volta Regions in Ghana.
The applicant must have attended a Senior High School (SHS) or Certificate 2 level program in any of the program regions mentioned above.
Applicants who sat their WASSCE level/ Certificate 2 level examination in schools outside their birth regions but within the specific regions mentioned above qualify to apply for the bursary.
The applicant must not be a current beneficiary of any other Scholarship scheme or similar bursary elsewhere.
Applicants who are young people with disabilities, refugees, HIV/AIDS–infected or affected, or orphaned (total or partial) are encouraged to apply.
The Applicant must be willing to give back to his/her community through development services.
The applicant must commit to pursuing a three (3) year Higher National Diploma (HND) program or a 2-year diploma program.
Only program participants from the above-mentioned project regions will be eligible for bursary support under the FAWE Mastercard Foundation Program.

Please note that this application form is free of charge. Applicants must read and understand the application guidelines before completing the form. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to appear for interviews.

Deadline for Application

The deadline for application is 20th January 2025, after which no applications will be accepted. All applicants must submit a completed form either in person at any District Education Office within the program’s regions or electronically via email at fawe@fawegh.org.
