Confirmed! WAEC Official Release Date For 2025 BECE Results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) wishes to inform the public about the release of the BECE 2025 results for both School and Private Candidates.

Having successfully conducted the examination at over 2,000 centres and completed all coordination and marking exercises, the Council is now far advanced with post-examination activities.

Investigations are still ongoing into cases of examination irregularities detected during and after the conduct of the exams. To ensure a quick resolution, the Council appeals to affected school authorities and candidates to respond promptly to any invitations. Candidates are reminded that failure to honor such invitations will not prevent the Council from making a final determination on the cases.

The Council also urges the public to disregard all information circulating on social media suggesting that the results have already been released. Such reports are false and misleading.

The confirmed target date for the release of the BECE 2025 results for both School and Private Candidates is 23rd August 25th, 2025.

Parents and candidates are advised to remain calm and patient as the Council works diligently to release the results officially and accurately.

What To Do As You Wait For The Results To Be Released?

2. Get your Index Number ready. Please make sure to have the correct index number because, this time, the results check is a little costly. Once you use the wrong number with the checker, you’ll have to repurchase a new checker.
