The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform its numerous publics that it has released provisional results of 43,742 candidates who entered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2022 – Second Series. The entry figure comprises 20,164 males and 23,578 females. Seventy six (76) of the candidates had visual impairment while two (2) had hearing impairment.

The results of 901 candidates alleged to have been involved in various cases of examination malpractice have been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations into the cases of malpractice. These malpractices include bringing foreign materials and mobile phones into the examination hall, impersonation, collusion, seeking external assistance among others.

The withheld results will be released as soon as the Council concludes its investigations. Candidates may access their results online at www. waecgh.org

How to Check your NovDec /WASSCE 2022 Private Results

First, purchase the result checker using momo by following the above steps.
Now visit the waec results checker portal through the https://eresults.waecgh.org
Once you are on the online portal, Enter your Index Number.
Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
Now select the Type of Examination (e.g. WASSCE School, WASSCE Private, BECE, et.c). Here you select the WASSCE Private as exam type.
Select your Examination Year eg. 2022.
Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.

Congratulation! You’ve successfully checked your results. From here, you can proceed to print and have the hard copy of your results. Wishing you all the best of luck!
