The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) provide a special opportunity to obtain a two-year Master’s degree in a Commonwealth nation with a low or moderate income.

The scholarships offer a once-in-a-lifetime chance for students who are dedicated to bringing about change in their communities to extend their perspectives, experience a new culture, and create a lifelong worldwide network.

Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholars work to effect good change and find answers to the problems we all confront via academic collaboration and cross-cultural interchange, both in their home countries and those that host them. Scholars will actively participate in shaping the Commonwealth network’s future.

Scholarship Benefits

• Full Tuition Fees.
• Living Expenses Allowance (Stipend) for the duration of the award.
• Accommodation Allowance
• Return Economy Flights to their host Country.
• An Arrival Allowance.
• Research Support Grant – on request only; subject to approval.

Eligibility Criteria

• To apply for the Scholarships. You must be a citizen of (or hold refugee status in) a Commonwealth country
• You Must Hold a bachelor’s Degree at the time of admission.
• There are no Upper age Limits or age Restrictions.
• Universities may have their own specific eligibility requirements for admissions.
