Update on GES Graduate Recruitment For January 2022: The Ministry of Finance somewhere in mid-November 2021 granted financial clearance to the education minister for the recruitment of newly trained teachers into the service.

Ever since the financial clearance for the recruitment of Diploma Teacher was released, there have been some concerns by the graduate teachers from the university. Most of these university graduates are asking to know when the ministry will take a similar step to also recruit them.
Speaking on a live TV interview the Minister made a statement that has since been considered as hope for graduates teachers.
According to the minister, the sector is hoping to recruit graduates teachers by January and February 2022.
That, for now, they are only given a financial clearance to recruit the 16,850 newly trained teachers into the Ghana Education Service.
“We hope to recruit the graduate’s teachers next year by January or February”
