General Admissions Requirements

 

Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA)

  • High School Graduate
  • Official transcripts
  • Applicants who have attended an accredited institution whose primary language of instruction is not English must receive a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 61 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or a 6.0 on the International English Language Test (IELTS), or a 44 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Score Report, or a 85 on the Duolingo English Test.

 

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)

  • High School Graduate
  • Official transcripts
  • Applicants who have attended an accredited institution whose primary language of instruction is not English must receive a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 61 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or a 6.0 on the International English Language Test (IELTS), or a 44 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Score Report, or a 85 on the Duolingo English Test.

 

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Bachelor Degree with overall GPA of 2.0 or better. California Miramar University accepts a 3 year Bachelor Degree.
  • Official transcripts evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) http://www.naces.org/members.html.
  • Applicants who have attended an accredited institution whose primary language of instruction is not English must receive a minimum score of 530 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 71 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or a 6 on the International English Language Test (IELTS), or 50 on the PTE Academic Score Report, or a 95 on the Duolingo English Test.

 

Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (MSCIS)

  • Bachelor Degree with overall GPA of 2.0 or better. California Miramar University accepts a 3 year Bachelor Degree.
  • Official transcripts evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) http://www.naces.org/members.html.
  • Applicants who have attended an accredited institution whose primary language of instruction is not English must receive a minimum score of 530 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 71 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or a 6 on the International English Language Test (IELTS), or 50 on the PTE Academic Score Report, or a 95 on the Duolingo English Test.

 

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

  • Master Degree with overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Official transcripts evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) http://www.naces.org/members.html.
  • Applicants who have attended an accredited institution whose primary language of instruction is not English must receive a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), or 80 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), or 6.5 on the International English Language Test (IELTS), or 58 on the PTE Academic Score Report, or a 105 on the Duolingo English Test.
  • Minimum of 30 hours of graduate coursework in a business related field.
  • Three years of combined teaching/professional work experience.
  • Three letters of recommendation

DBA students will also need:

  • DBA Supplemental Form
  • 3 letters of recommendation

Note: 

Students must provide the documents listed above as part of the application process. All documents may be emailed, however, original documents must be sent or provided upon arrival to CMU’s International Admission Office.

International Student Processing Fee – $100 (Nonrefundable)
