WAEC Re-Opens Registration for Private Candidates (Nov/Dec 2023)

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform the general public that Short Notice Registration (Walk-In) for West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2023 is currently ongoing and will end on 27th July 2023.

Also, the Council wishes to update its numerous publics on the  West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates, 2023.

Co-ordination and Marking Exercises have been completed and processing of results as well as other post-examination activities are ongoing.

The Council cautions candidates to be wary of websites announcing the release of the results and of persons who promise to upgrade results for a fee.

These are activities of fraudsters and all stakeholders are hereby alerted accordingly. Furthermore, the Council urges all institutions to always authenticate results presented to them.
