WAEC To Release Results Before 29th December 2024 – MOE

Earlier this week, we updated you on why there was a delay in the release of 2024 WASSCE results for school candidates. In that update, we made it clear that the government has some outstanding arrears to be paid to WAEC, and WAEC was unable to release the results as expected.

Subsequently, in an interview monitored by our team, the minister of education indicated that the government had released some funds to WAEC. For that matter, WAEC is set to release the results before 29th December 2024.

This means students who sat for the WAEC WASSCE examination 2024 can access their results after the said date.

However, in other related developments, the management of Waec has also made it clear that the deadline given by the MOE may not be fixable. This means they may not be able to meet that target date; hence, the release of the results may take a little bit longer than expected.

If you are a WASSCE 2024 student, then you have to make sure to bookmark this page and continue to visit our page as we continue to bring you the actual release date for the 2024 WASSCE results.

1. First, visit the online results-checking website using your phone or PC browser through the address  http://ghana.waecdirect.org
2. Once you’re on the page, you must Enter your Index Number.
3. Now Select the Type of Examination (e.g.  WASSCE).
   
4. Select your Examination Year eg. 2024.
5. Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher purchased using the above method.
6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
7. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
8. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
9. If everything goes right, your results will be displayed for you. From here, you can proceed to print the results.
