BECE 2020 Placement Yet to be Out: See the official Statement From GES

If you can recall, in our earlier report, we made mention that, the BECE 2020 placement for junior high students into SHS was anticipated to be released on February 3, 2021.

In that update, we also clearly stated that the placement release date it’s “Anticipated” Meaning, only GES has the sole right to release the placement as and when they are ready.

On the said date, most candidates including their parents and guardian were anxious to see/check the placement of their wards, but to their disappointment, the placement wasn’t released.

Now, GES has come out with an official statement debunking such an anticipated released date. According to them, Preparations are ongoing for the release of SHS placement for the 2020/21 academic year.

Management of the Ghana education services wishes to announce that preparations are ongoing for the release of senior high school placement for the 2020/2021 academics year.

Management also wishes to advise the general public to beware of the fake news portal and rather fellow GES official social media handle on Facebook (GES.gove.gh) to Twitter (@gheduserce), Instagram(@gheduservice), and the website (GES.gov.gh) for credible information.

Finally, we wish to assure parents, guardians, candidates,s and the general public that we remain committed to ensuring a smooth, merit-based SHSplacement process under established guidelines and look forward to their full cooperation in this regard.
