Difference Between B.ED and B.sc Graduate From the University and their Jobs Opportunities

B.Sc is Bachelor of Science and B.Ed is Bachelor of Education. With B.Sc you will study the course you are offering without offering any educational course but with the B.Ed you will do your course that you are offering plus education course. With the B.Ed you can fit more in the educational sector but with the B.Sc you can fit well in other sectors.

B.Ed graduates have dual objectives whiles B.Sc graduates have only one option. Let’s say you offered B.Ed Accounting, with this,  you can teach in the educational institution and work as an accountant too in any firm. But when you offer B.Sc Accounting, you can only practice as an accountant.

However, BEd degrees also can be used to work anywhere. But by your qualification, you’re trained to teach and manage schools.

Let us all get this clear that once you received training at the first-degree level. You are by this training given a toolbox to work either in academia or in other non-academic establishments.

If one decides to join an industry such as banking or insurance, he or she may want to take professional courses leading to qualification as a chartered banker or chartered insurer, etc
