The 2025 BECE results are now out. Candidates can find below the steps involved in checking the results.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) wishes to inform the public that the BECE 2025 results for both School and Private Candidates are scheduled to be released between August 25th and 29th, 2025.

Having successfully conducted the examination at over 2,000 centres and completed all coordination and marking exercises, the Council is now far advanced with post-examination activities.

Investigations are ongoing into cases of examination irregularities detected during and after the conduct of the exams. To ensure a quick resolution, the Council appeals to affected school authorities and candidates to respond promptly to any invitations. Candidates are reminded that failure to honour such invitations will not prevent the Council from making a final determination on the cases in question.

The Council also urges the public to disregard all information circulating on social media claiming that the results have already been released, as such reports are false and misleading.

Parents and candidates are advised to remain calm and patient as the Council works diligently to release the results officially and accurately.
