GES Official Update On COLA Strike – 15th July 2022

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken note of the successful completion of the negotiations between the Government of Ghana and Organized Labor on the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
Management has also taken note of the announcement of the Pre-tertiary Education Unions calling off the strike effective 14 July 2022.

Official Date for Pretetiary to Resume Work

Following the call-off of the industrial strike by the Teacher Unions on Thursday, 14th July 2022. Management of GES is by this letter informing all Regional Directors of Education o ensure that both teaching and non-teaching staff of the Service in their respective regions return to school on Monday. 18th July 2022 and start full academic work.

Management, therefore, informs all Regional and District Directors of Education to ensure both teaching and non-teaching staff of the Service return to school on Monday 18th July 2022, to start full academic work.
