GES: Reopening Date for JHS Remains 6th July 2021, See More Details Below

The management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform parents, guidance, and students that, the reopening date for JHS students still remains 6th July 2021. That there have not been any changes in the reopening date.

The GES management posted a press release on their social media page that was purported to have been released by them with the Inscription “Fake. Please disregard. Reopening for JHS remains 6th July 2021″.

This means the memo didn’t come from them and are urging each and everyone to disregard the claims made in the memo.

The Management also wishes to inform the general public to disregard the claims by some blogs and publications regarding the postponement of the Resumption Date for the Junior High schools in Ghana.

Reopening Date For All Junior High Schools

Teachers and Students in junior high Schools JHS has had a doubtful mind about the actual resumption date for the second semester.

Teachers and students are to be informed that the Ghana Education Service GES has already prepared the academic calendar for the Junior High School JHS across the country which is the semester-based calendar.

Students at this level were asked to go on vacation on the 12th June 2021 after six months stay in school.

Management of GES sends its best wishes to all Junior High schools and congratulates them for their fortitude so far.

Management of GES also expresses its profound gratitude to all Teachers, heads of Basic Schools, Directors of Education, Parents/Guardians, and all stakeholders for the crucial roles they are playing in the upbringing of the wards.
