GES Update on Reporting Date of SHS 1 Students—BECE 2024 Graduates

The Ghana Education Service announces to parents, students, and the general public that the reporting date for first-year students is 30th October 2024, as indicated on the placement form.

Management expects schools to begin registration and orientation of students on the 30th of October, 2024. Per the academic calendar, there would be a Christmas break on the 20th of October 2024 and a resume on the 2nd of January 2025  to continue academic work till July and August 2025.

Management urges all students yet to do their self-placement as quickly as practicable.

We appreciate all stakeholders for collaborating and supporting the CSSPS process to this point. We continue to ask for your patience to ensure the academic calendar for SHS is implemented without hitches so we can get back to the pre-COVID academic calendar.
