The function of the Civil Service
The Civil Service performs the following functions:
- The OHCS Initiates and formulates policies for consideration by the government and advises the government on policies
- The civil service undertakes research to help the effective implementation of government policies
- The civil service Implements, reviews, monitors, coordinates and evaluates government policies.
- The civil service performs other additional functions as directed by the Executive branch of government.
- The OHCS is In charge of all Civil Servants and Ensures the efficiency of the civil service

How to Apply for Civil Service Recruitment 2024
- First, visit the Civil Service Recruitment portal https://ohcsghana.com.
- Here, Youll sees two options. Choose the first option “New Applicant (SignUp)” to create an account
- Now fill in your personal details including;
First Name, Last Name, Email Address (account verification code will be sent to the email provided), GHANA CARD NUMBER (“GHA” and “-” should be ignored when entering the ID number), and Password. - If you already have an account, select the “Existing Applicant (Sign in)” Option.
- Once the account is created and you are signed in, the Civic Service application will be displayed to you. Provide all the information required.
- After providing the necessary information, click on the submit button to finish up the process.
Closing Date/Deadline For Civil Service Recruitment
The deadline/closing date for the Civil Service Recruitment is 15 May 2024. Applications shall not be received after the given date.

Please i tried to apply for the Civil service job but i created the account and the next step is to login in and that place has two sections email and password i entered both after that a message pop up that a code will be sent to my email i checked several times no code has been sent, without that code i can’t move to the next stage.
