Ghana Education Service Holiday Break Notice to All Schools and Academic Calendar:

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform staff, parent students, and the general public that all schools will break for the Easter holidays on Thursday, 6 April 2023.

The Easter break is not compulsory for boarding students and so students who wish to stay on campus will be allowed to stay and fed. Students who decide to stay on campus should adhere strictly to the school rules and regulations.

Meanwhile, SHS 1 students are also expected to resume for the session of the Second semester in June 2023.

  1. Management wishes to remind Heads of all Senior High Schools/Senior High Technical Schools that student should break on Thursday April 6, 2023 for the Easter Holidays
  2. Management also wish to inform Heads of Second Cyele Schools running the Transitional Calendar that SHS One (1) students are to continue with their vacation until their scheduled re-opening in June, 2023.
  3. Regional Directors are by this letter directed to ensure that Heads of Second Cyele Schools in their respective regions take note and comply accordingly to facilitate a smooth running of the academic year.

All staff, parents, students, and the general public are to note the dates.
