According to the “global university rankings,” no such Mexican school is among the top 600 but seven out of ten of the world’s top 10 universities are located in the United States.

The educational systems in the United States and Mexico are significantly diverse. In Mexico’s instance, much relies on the location in which the school is located. Mexico has a national curriculum that must be followed in both public and private schools of which the United States does not.

In Mexico’s urban areas, kids do much better than in rural areas. In the same way, the kids in the inner city do not get the same education as the kids in a suburban school in the US. For example, kids in Texas may get different things than those in California.

Preschool, Elementary, Junior High, High School/Jr. College and Universities are the levels of education in Mexico.

US school system is divided into the following levels: Elementary, Middle or Jr. High, High School, Jr. College, Vocational, and Universities.

The United States gives free education to children up to the 12th grade, as well as free textbooks. Depending on the state, students are allowed to attend school until a particular age.
