In that article, we’ve also listed some of the requirements that one is supposed to meet before applying for new recruitment. Today, we are going to take you through the steps and procedures involved in applying for G.E.S recruitment 2023.

Prospective applicants for the recruitment are required to first visit the G.E.S recruitment portal through the address www.gespromotions.gov.gh to fill out an online application form.
It’s worth noting that, Candidates who wish to be considered for employment as teachers under the GES should have completed and passed the final-year College of Education Examination, must have completed the mandatory national service, and passed the Teacher Licensure Examination.
Such candidates should be prepared and ready to work wherever they will be posted by the GES.

GES Recruitment Application Requirements

Applicants MUST meet all of these requirements:

Completed any of the 46 Public Colleges of Education in 2020 and have
no outstanding exams or referrals.
Completed the mandatory National Service
Passed the National Teacher Licensure Exams
Will be ready to work wherever services are needed

How to Apply For G.E.S 2023/2024 Recruitment

To begin with the application, you must first visit www.gespromotion.gov.gh to purchase a voucher code using your mobile money balance at a cost of GHC 10.00

How to Buy The G.E.S Voucher

Once you are on the G.E.S recruitment portal, you’ll be displayed with different options. Click on eVoucher Card.

Now, Select your Mobile Money service provider. e.g (MTN Mobile Money, Vodacash, TigoAirtel Money)

Here, enter your Mobile money number and key in a valid Email address.

Click submit and wait for the approval.

You’ll be prompted for approval by your service providers. But in some cases, you’ll need to approve the transaction yourself. To do so, you go to your phone dialer and dial *170#, MTN, or *110# for vodacash, select wallet, select My Approvals, enter your four-digit PIN to approve.

Now, after a successful transaction, you’ll receive an SMS that contains your Voucher Code.

Copy only the Voucher CODE e.g (U**************)

Now, Go back to the official GES website, click on the Apply button under GES Recruitment, and follow the next procedure.

Once you’re on the homepage of the G.E.S website, you Fill in your personal details as required:

Your Qualification (BA, BFA, BSc, or B.Ed)
Your Number of years of teaching experience. E.g (1,2,3,4 or 5 )
First, Second & Third Subjects of preference.
Choose 3 regions of your choice.
National Service Status. (NSS organization you served, Service Year, NSS NUMBER )
Licensure Exam PIN.
Institution Attended including the name of the school, year start, and completed
Cross-check to see if everything is right, then Click SUBMIT
Once everything goes right, you will receive a pop-up message which reads (Form submitted successfully, your application form is submitted Successfully).

NB: Only newly trained teachers who meet the above will be shortlisted/Posted.

The closing date for the registration period is 24th February 2023 whiles the postings shall be completed and made public.
