The University announces to the general public the sales of admission forms for Degree and Non Degree programmes. The sale of Admission forms is open to the general public from May and ends in December 2022. Currently, the cost of one set of application forms for BSc programmes is Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200.00).

General Information for Undergraduate Applicants (Ghanaian)

The cost of Admission forms for Ghanaian Applicants ONLY is:

1. BSc Programmes is GHC¢200.00
2. Diploma Programmes is GHC¢175
3. Certificate Programmes is GHC¢150.00.

The Cost of Application for International Applicants is US$100

The cost of Diploma programmes is One Hundred and Seventy-Five Ghana Cedis (GH¢175.00) and One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢150.00) for Certificate programmes for Ghanaian applicants.

The cost for international applicants is Hundred US Dollars (US$100.00), while for BSc programmes, Two hundred Ghana cedis (GHC¢200.00)

The application forms for admission (Ghanaians only) can be purchased at the following places.

• Post Offices
• Ecobank
• Cal Bank
• GCB Bank
• Zenith Bank
• Fidelity Bank
• Access Bank
• UBA

How to Apply?

1. The Banks and Post Offices have been furnished with a list of serial numbers with their corresponding Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) for the sale of the forms.
2. On payment for the forms, the Bank and the Post Offices will issue a payment receipt containing a unique serial number with its corresponding PIN per each purchase.
3. The applicant will use the serial number and the PIN as the login details on the UMaT online Admission System.

Applicants are required to purchase and submit one set of application forms only. Any applicant who submits more than one set of forms shall be disqualified. Any form that is not fully completed at the time of submission shall not be considered.

NOTE:

• Candidates who will write the WASSCE in 2022 can apply but MUST add their results to their applications when the results are released.
• Applicants should know that only results provided when submitting the application will be used in selecting students.

General Information for International Applicants

All International applicants must fill out a form to request application Login details. Applicants are to make an online application and thereafter scan their results slips/Baccalaureate and send them to [email protected].

Non-English speaking International Applicants who do not have a certificate of proficiency in English are expected to apply for the Certificate in English Programme first. They will go through an intensive class before they start their main programmes.
