The Ministry of Education announces to parents, guardians, students, and the public that the 2021/2022 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High Schools (SHS)/Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes, will go live on Saturday, 26 March 2022.

Out of the total number of 571,892 registered candidates, 555,353 candidates have qualities to be placed. A total of 367,811candidates have automatically been placed in one of their choices Which means a total of 187,542 qualified candidates will have to do SELF-PLACEMENT selection from available schools since they could not be matched with any of their choices.

For this year, Candidates will be allowed to change school a couple of times until finally enroll in them. So until enrolling in a school, you can continue to do changes up till the enrolment deadline, and once you have the opportunity to change, you do not need to come over here to seek any assistance or for someone to do that for you.

The placement of candidates under the CSSPS had over years been done three weeks to the reopening of schools, and his years are no different.

“Usually, we give them some three weeks to prepare to go to school and we wanted to keep that.”
