KNUST Updated Admission Entry Requirements For 2024-2025
A. STEM
Female applicants into Science; Technology; Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programmes of study shall gain one aggregate point advantage. This is to facilitate and encourage Female students to participate in these programmes of study.
B. CONSIDERATION OF SOCIAL STUDIES COURSE FOR ADMISSION
All applicants into the University must have a minimum credit passes in English, Mathematics and Science. However for Art; Humanities; Social Sciences and Business Programmes, a better grade in SOCIAL STUDIES shall be used in place of the Integrated Science provided applicant has a minimum of C6 in Integrated Science.
C. KNUST is giving all applicants the opportunity to do the following on their application online:
- Check for the correctness of the following a. index number b. Years of Examination(s) c. Type of Examination (SSSCE or WASSCE) d. Sitting (May/June(School) or Nov/Dec(Private))
- The name on the application SHOULD BE EXACTLY the same as appears on the RESULT SLIP. No variation in Names will be accepted.
- You MAY make changes to programmes selected.
ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED BY POST (EMS/DHL/UPS/FEDEX) TO THE DEPUTY REGISTRAR (ACADEMIC AFFAIRS) KNUST, KUMASI, GHANA ON OR BEFORE November 30, 2024.
MATURE APPLICANTS ARE, HOWEVER, REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS BY SEPTEMBER 29, 2024.
Any HAND DELIVERED Application shall not be PROCESSED.
ANY APPLICATION THAT IS NOT FULLY AND/ OR PROPERLY COMPLETED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION SHALL NOT BE PROCESSED AND/OR CONSIDERED.
Applicants must be practicing Pharmacist with three (3) years post registration experience.
Applicants for Top-Up programmes are required to submit their completed online application to the Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, KNUST, Kumasi & Head, KNUST Office, Accra, on or before, November 30, 2024.
