MTN Official Release On New SIM Registration Link & Centres: Following the Long queuing at the MTN Offices for the new SIM Card registration across the country, the Management of MTN Ghana has come out with an official release directing its users on where to do their SIM registration.

The management in their social media update also gave a disclaimer on a link (Β simregistrationupdate.mtn.com.gh) purporting to be a SIM Registration Portal. That, this Link is not meant for the current SIm Registration exercise as suggested in the message circulating.
For the current SIM Registration, please follow the 2 step process outlined below to register your number.
1. Dial *404# and follow the prompt to link your Ghana Card to your SIM number.
2. Visit an MTN Registration Point for your biometric capture:
You will need:
- Your Ghana Card
- Your Ghana Post GPS Address
- Unique Code (dial *400# to retrieve your unique code)
All official communications will be posted on our official social media handles and website.
MTN New SIM Registration Centres In Ghana
Kindly be informed that the SIM Registration exercise is taking place at the following centres.
- MTN branches
- Connect Stores
- Distributors Branch
- Light Retail Stores (Volume Management)
- MTN Retail centres and agent touchpoints across the country.
We encourage customers to visit these MTN touchpoints to reduce congestion at the MTN service centres.
Remember to take your GHana Card and GPS code for a smooth registration at any of these centres.
