The teacher licensure examination is a crucial assessment conducted by the NTC to ensure that teachers meet the required standards and possess the necessary competencies to educate and shape young minds. The NTC has declared November 2023 to be the New Date For NTC Last Batch of Teacher Licensure Examination Resit before migrating to the new standard.

This provides a final opportunity for candidates who were unable to pass previous exams. The decision reflects the council’s commitment to supporting candidates and offering them a chance to demonstrate their proficiency and commitment to the teaching profession.

According to the Registrar of the Teaching Council, Dr. Christian Addai-Poku, the first phase of the 2023 GTLE resit that we just wrote did not include those who completed teacher education institutions and universities in 2022, they have not been part. They are going to write theirs in September.

How to Register For NTC Resit 2023

Candidates are required to first pay GHȻ350.00 as a registration fee for the examination
Re-sit candidates are to pay GHȻ150.00 per each Re-sit paper
All candidates must pay to any GCB Bank Ltd Branch nationwide
After payment, a PIN and Serial Number will be provided to you by Bank.
Now visit https://ntc.gov.gh/to activate your account.
Enter your e-voucher Serial No. and Pin
Fill in all the fields and remember to upload your Passport-size photograph
Review the information provided and submit
Print a summary of the inputs made.

Candidates are advised to keep their PIN and SERIAL NUMBERS secure after registration for the licensure examination they will be needed after the examination.

What is the Price for Registration for the 2023 NTC Licensure Exams?

New Applicants are required to pay GH¢350.00 to register for the examination
Candidates who are re-sitting are to pay GHe150.00 for one (1) Re-sit paper.
Candidates who are re-sitting all two (2) papers are to pay GH¢300.00
Candidates who are re-sitting all three (3) papers are to pay GH¢350.00
