Below are Some Frequently Asked Questions About UCC Course Registrations. These questions are carefully selected and answered by the school authority to help solve the challenges that most students may face and during and after course registrations for the 2023/2024 academics.

  How do I get my wrong course code mounted in the list of courses rectified?

You need to contact your department registration officer for assistance.

• The courses I need to take will exceed the maximum credits.

You need to contact your department registration officer for assistance.

• What are the major steps needed to get a referred course registered?

Check to see if the referred course is available in your list of courses. It is not available, contact your department registration officer for assistance.

• What happens if I can’t preview or print my registered courses?

Please check to see if your total credits registered met the minimum credits required. If you satisfy the minimum credits then contact your department registration officer for assistance.

• What happens if I change my major course combination during registration?

Please note: Any time you change your major combination your registered courses will be deleted to make room for the new registration of courses under the new major. So make sure you go through the registration process again anytime you make a change to your major combination.

• What happens if I could not register my courses within the registration period?

Take steps to defer the programme.

• What if my level and courses available for registration are wrong?

You need to contact the Student Records Section(SRS) for assistance.

• What is expected from a student who wants to audit a course?

To audit a course, you need the consent of the lecturer and the approval of the Head of the department.

• What should I do after registering for my courses?

Please print your registration form and submit the same to your departmental registration officer and faculty officer for endorsement.

• What should I do if there are no courses available under the major combination selected?

Please contact your departmental registration officer for assistance.

• Whom do I contact if I have no major course combination in the course major list under my program?

You need to contact your department registration officer for assistance.

• How can I resolve my IC?

You need to contact the lecturer who taught you, the head of the department, or the department examination officer for assistance.

• I can’t find my name on the class list.

Check first if the registered course is on your detail result, contact SRS for assistance before the semester ends.

• When can I drop the wrong course?

You can do that anytime before the end of the registration. Failure to do so would earn you a grade.

• Whom do I need to see if am not satisfied with my grade?

You need to contact the lecturer who taught you all your assessment scores or the department examination officer for assistance.
