UG: Update on Fresh Students’ Medical Examinations – 2021/2022: All Freshmen are to note that the mandatory Medical Examination is being carried out in order of hall of residence/campus from Monday, April 4 to Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

The particulars are as follows:

1. Fresh Students are required to report with any valid national ID for the exercise between 8:00 am – 11:30 am on weekdays (Mondays – Fridays) at the Students Clinic (in the Basement of Central Cafeteria). Prior to arrival, they are to ensure that they have registered online on the Student Medical Examination Platform in the STS Portal.

(Please note that for City Campus Students, the exercise will be held at the City Campus Clinic)

2. Chest X-ray will be provided at the Main University Hospital (Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.)

3. The OPG X-ray (Dental) will be taken at the Reveal Diagnostic Centre – Legon Mall (adjacent to the Legon Police Station.) (Weekdays between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays.

4. Physical examinations will extend from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm on the weekdays at the Main University Hospital.

All Freshmen should participate in this compulsory medical examination exercise as it is part of the admissions process. Students who fail to do so within the stipulated period will be required to pay a penalty.
