When is University of Stellenbosch Online Application Closing Date?
A: Undergraduate applications open on 1 March and close on 30 June. Please consult maties.com for a complete list of programmes – specific closing dates, some of which are earlier. The closing date for most postgraduate programmes is 30 September. Please note that some programmes have different closing dates.

1 March: Applications open for all programmes
1 April: Applications open for financial assistance at Stellenbosch University
1 August: Applications open for NSFAS bursaries
30 June: Applications close for all undergraduate programmes.
30 June: Residence applications close.
31 August: Applications close for Stellenbosch University financial assistance.
30 November: Applications close for NSFAS bursaries.
15 December: Applications close for Diploma in Public Accountability (Telematic Education).
University of Stellenbosch online Application form
Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with the closing date of the programme you wish to apply for and note that new applicants are only permitted one choice of programme upon application.
International applicants (applicants with citizenship other than from South Africa) need not pay the R100.00 application fee.
All new applicants are advised to review the guidelines on how to apply here.

What is University of Stellenbosch Online Application Fees?
Application fees. An amount of R100 is payable when applying for admission as a student.
This amount is not applicable to the following groups of students:
– International students – click here to be redirected to the Stellenbosch University International (SUI) website.
– Students applying to the Stellenbosch University Business School (USB). Send inquiry to usbcom@usb.ac.za.
Application fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
