WAEC Update On Registration Of 2023 GBCE Candidates The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform the general public that registration for candidates in respect of the May/June, 2023 General and Advanced Business Certificate Examinations (G/ABCE) is still ongoing and will end on Thursday, 27th April, 2023.

Procedure For Registration

Prospective candidates are to follow the steps below to register:

Log on to the website www.waecgh.org
On the home page, select the link “ABCE”, if you are registering for the Advanced Business Certificate Examination or the link “GBCE”, if you are registering for the General Business Certificate Examination.
Click on START REGISTRATION.
For fresh registration, create a profile by providing the required data under ‘Fresh Registration Section’.
Fill in your personal information.
Scan and upload your image (recent passport-sized photograph with a white background) and your signature (signed in blue or black ink).
Select the Region and Centre where you wish to write the examination.
Select the subject(s) you intend to write.
Click SUBMIT when you are sure of the correctness of your data.
If after submission you wish to amend your data, click START REGISTRATION and select Existing Candidate’s Section. After the amendment, click SUBMIT.
Print the registration invoice and take it to any of the Banks.
Pay the appropriate fees at the Bank.

YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE VALID UNTIL FULL PAYMENT OF THE APPROPRIATE FEE(S).

Eligibility

The General/Advanced Business Certificate Examinations, 2023 are open to both private individuals and students in approved institutions.

Date for Examination

The GBCE will start on Monday, 21st August, 2023 and end on Monday, 18th September, 2023 whilst the ABCE will also start on Monday, 21st August, 2023 and end on Tuesday, 19th September, 2023.
