BECE 2023 SHS Placement: What to do if you have a Problem with your Placement

The 2024 Placement portal is expected to go live second/third  week  of November 2023. This means students who sat and wrote the 2022 BECE will able to access their placement on the said date.

Immediately after the CSSPS portal is live, a call centre will be established by the Ghana Education Service team to resolve issues regarding the placement of the Parents and candidates.

See When are The 2023 BECE Candidate/Newly Placed Students Going to School?

According to GES, they remain committed to ensuring a smooth placement process this year and assured parents and their wards of finding solutions to their problems.

That,

“In our determination to ensure a smooth placement process this year, Management took another step by conveying parents and students that stormed the call center today to the GNAT Hall(Teachers Halls) at Adabraka.”

“Parents were ushered into the beautiful edifice of the teacher’s hall and the GES technical team attended to all of them. As of 6 pm today, all issues had been resolved.”

“We continue to encourage all who still have placement issues to stay home and give us a call. The center operates from 7 am to 9 pm on daily basis.”

That, students who have not had their preferred schools or couldn’t self-place themselves should not panic but rather give them a call so they can address and resolve the problem for them.

“Don’t panic. We are all ready to give you a listening ear. From 7 am to 9 pm daily.”

A social media post sighted by our team from the Ghana Education Service Page saw the parents and their wards seated in the hall waiting for their challenges to be addressed by GES. it reads:

This means, once you have a problem with your Placement, you too can call the GES Helplines below for help. or better still if you live in Accra and its surrounding, you can visit the hall for help. But you must make sure to observe the COVID-19 Protocols as said by the management. (even though is advisable to be physically presented to the call centre)
