After the opening of the portal, everything was going on smoothly until the early hours of Monday 4th April 2022. As of the time of writing this article, the 2022 school placement portal was down.

When a person tries to access the portal, it displays an Error 504 (Gateway time-out). This means students who have not yet checked their 2022 placement will find it difficult to check if the issue is not solved as soon as possible by the GES/Cssps management.

What happened?

The web server reported a gateway time-out error. Error 504 mostly occurs when the server is taking too much time to respond to your request. It mostly has to do with the host of the site (cssps.gov.gh) you are trying to access.

What can I do?

Please try again in a few minutes by refreshing the site. You can also OFF your internet data for a few minutes and ON to retry again. But in this case, we are sure the problem is not from your end. It’s from the host of the CSSPS as it indicates on their Cloudflare server. So what you can do is just wait for a few hours and retry again.

But please note that, due to the limit set for the usage of the 2022 CSSPS placement cards(voucher), you may have to take not the number of times used, other than that, the Voucher will expire and in that case, you may have to buy a new voucher.
