For the past weeks, Students, parents, and the general public have been looking for the release date for the 2023 placement. Most of the students are eager to see their placement schools so they can adequately prepare before the reporting date.

On 27 November 2023, the management of the Ghana Education Service then updated the general public, students, and their parents on the release date for the 2023 SHS placement.

Per the update, the 2023 SHS Placement Portal is to go live on the 27th November 2023. Students who expected the CSSPS portal to go live on 26th as early as 9:00 AM on the scheduled date were disappointed.

They waited until the 18:00hrs of the day but still the placement portal was showing “Maintenance mode” when they try to access the portal.

But it seems the long waiting on the CSSPS to go live has ended. As at the time of writing, the CSSPS portal for checking of placement is now open and candidates can begin to check their placement.

The opening of the placement portal has been announced and students can now access their school placement.

How to Check 2023 SHS Placement

First Buy the placement Checker from any of the approved vendors.
After obtaining a pin code, log onto the site www. Cssps.gov gh
Enter the ten-digit index number and add 23 as the year of completion. Eg 1234567890123
Enter the pin code details (serial number and pin)
Click on submit and wait for placement to be displayed
Print the form if you have been placed and visit the school to begin the admission process System will redirect you for self-placement, it is not placed.
Schools selected on the self-placement portal can be changed as many times as the candidate wishes until the ENROLL in a school.
