As we all know, the education system in Ghana has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to adjustments in school calendars and learning modalities.

This announcement brings clarity to students, parents, and educators as they prepare for the new academic year.

In a social media post, the management made it clear that, The reopening date for Basic schools for the first term of the 2023|2024 academic year is 3rd October 2023.

This means all Basic schools in the country are expected to reopen on the above-given date and not the one which has been earlier stated on the revised comprehensive Academic Calendar.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to support their children’s education by monitoring their progress, attending parent-teacher meetings, and providing a conducive learning environment at home.
