How to Register For NTC Examination 2024/2025, Registration Form & Regional Centres

The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Act 2008 (Act 778), Section 9, to improve teachers’ professional standing and status and license and register teachers in Ghana. Registration for the 2nd phase of the GTLE (Ghana teacher licensure examination has been opened. Prospective Applicants have, from now until 20 February 2024, to apply using the steps below.

The National Teaching Council, NTC Examinations Registration for 2024/2025 has been announced and prospective candidates can start to apply now.

Registration Starts in March 2024 and will last for a week or two. The examination is expected to also start in March 2023.

New applicants for the examination are expected to pay GHS450, and re-sitting candidates who wish to write the three are also to pay GHS385 or GHS150 for a paper.

Who Can Write the Licensure Examination?

Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PDGE) seeking employment with the Ghana Education Service.
All teachers who wrote the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination in 2023 but failed in one, two, or all three papers are expected to register to re-sit the paper/papers in which they failed.

How to Apply For GTLE 2024 Licensure Exams

Candidates are required to first pay GHȻ385.00 as a registration fee for the examination
Re-sit candidates are to pay GHȻ150.00 per each Re-sit paper
All candidates must pay to any GCB Bank Ltd Branch nationwide
After payment, a PIN and Serial Number will be provided to you by Bank.
Now visit https://ntc.gov.gh/to activate your account.
Enter your e-voucher Serial No. and Pin
Fill in all the fields and remember to upload your Passport-size photograph
Review the information provided and submit
Print a summary of the inputs made.

Candidates are advised to keep their PIN and SERIAL NUMBERS secure after registration for the licensure examination they will be needed after the examination.

What is the Price for Registration for the 2023 NTC Licensure Exams?

New Applicants are required to pay GH¢450.00 to register for the examination
Candidates who are re-sitting are to pay GHe150.00 for one (1) Re-sit paper.
Candidates who are re-sitting all two (2) papers are to pay GH¢210.00
Candidates who are re-sitting all three (3) papers are to pay GH¢385.00

What’s the Deadline for NTC Registration 2024?

Completed application forms should be received online no later than February 20th, 2024.
NB: There will be no extension in time for registration beyond the deadline.
