The 2023 Basic School Certificate Examination (BECE) ended on August 11, 2023, and three months later, candidates who took the exams are now eagerly awaiting the release of their results.

In our last update, we projected that the 2022 BECE results would likely be released in the third week of 9th November 2023. We promise to update you on that article as and when new information is available.

The information available was that the 2023 BECE results would be released in 9th November 2023. This was made known by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Education during a TV interview with the JoyNews’ AM Show.

In that interview, Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng mentioned that the results of the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will be made public on Thursday, 9th November 2023.

“Our checks with WAEC show that hopefully by 9th November 2023 the BECE results will be in,”

The Ministry is looking forward to seeing all first-year students start their Secondary School Education.

On placing candidates at their various SHS in 2023, the PRO added, “This year, the placement will be quite earlier. Instead of January, we are looking at December, so students can get to school quite early.”

He advised the 2023 BECE candidates to visit the CSSPS Portal to view their school placements when released, and that manual provisions will be put in place for students who are not placed via the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).

He assured that further details would be public when school placements are announced.
