This project seeks to unearth and sponsor young Ghanaian Tech entrepreneurs or “Techpreneurs” who are using technology and have a business model which can be ‘scaled’.The global information technology industry is on pace to reach $5.2 trillion in 2020, according to research by the International Data Corporation (IDC). Economies, jobs, and personal lives are becoming more digital and connected.

One Application submitted per Applicant

Show ownership of project or solution

Show existence of a minimum viable product

Application Stages

Step One

Visit this link to Fill and submit your application to enter The OpEx Prize competition. Make sure to submit the link to all required documents and videos. Grant access or the required permissions to allow 3rd party access to those links.

Step Two

Applicants will be shortlisted, bringing the number to 20 people. Shortlisting will be done based on the following criteria: whether or not you presented a clear and focused product if your product will have a social impact, has the potential to bring system change, and scale potential. Successful applicants will be contacted.

Initial Shortlisting: 19th – 23rd April 2021
