Guide on Writing a letter of request for GES Promotion.
When writing a letter of request for promotion, it is important to be very clear as to what position you are applying for. For example, if you’re a teacher placed under SUP II, and now looking forward to promotion into SUP I, Mention it in the letter.
You can choose to immediately state the position/rank you are applying for from the letter Heading or wait and state them from the body.
Also, make sure the letter is short and does not exceed on-page. This will help catch the attention of whoever is going to read.
