Savannah College of Education ( SAVCOE) Admission Portal: The Savannah College of Education is the first college of education in the entire Savannah Region. It is affiliated with the University of Education (U.E.W.) and was established in 2021. As the stakeholders of the region were deliberating on the need to adopt any structure to start a public college, the former WASIPE SHS became one of the schools that could easily be converted to start the college.

Admission for the 2023–2024 academic year is still ongoing, and persons who are interested in applying for admission at this college can see below all the information needed before they can proceed to apply. Please note that, the current wassce 2023 graduates can also apply.

General Admission Requirements for Savannah College of Education

WASSCE /SSSCE Qualification Applicants

The general requirement for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme is as follows:

WASSCE Holders: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in Six (6)subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
SSSCE Holders: PASSES (A-D) in Six (6) subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Applicants

Applicants must:

have passed in three (3) subjects (at least one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, a science subject (for non-science students), and an arts subject (for science students).

How to buy SAVCOE Admission PIN Online

To buy the admission PIN for the Savannah College of Education, you need to follow the below steps.

First, visit the online admissions sales portal here.
Once you are on the portal, you’ll be asked to enter the following details: First name, last name, email address, phone number, and amount to charge: GHS 205 ( Additional GHC5 is added for service charge.)

After filling in these details, you need to click on the Pay Now button.
Now a prompt will appear on your phone. Enter your MOMO PIN to confirm the purchase.
Once the purchase is successful, you’ll receive the PIN and the serial number.
Now you can proceed to apply for admission by following the steps highlighted below.

Approve the transaction
You will receive the voucher details
Go back to the login page, enter your serial number and PIN to start the application.
