University of Ghana Sport Fund Scholarship Application for 2023/2024

The Sports Directorate has opened the University of Ghana Sports Fund (UG-SF) scholarship application for the 2023/2024 academic year.

About the University of Ghana Sport Fund

The (UG-SF) is an initiative to motivate, support and facilitate admitted student-athletes and to attract potential talents to enhance their admission to the University of Ghana. The UG-SF is a form of support scheme that the University of Ghana Sport Directorate (UGSD) makes available to exceptional and less privileged student-athletes when the required resources are available.

The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis and is available to undergraduate students ONLY, both fresh and continuing students.

Eligibility Criteria

1.  Must be an admitted student-athlete of the University of Ghana with enormous sports talent
2. Demonstrate financial need

Required Supporting Documents

1. Certificates awarded to you in previous sports competitions
2. Academic records
3. Any other supporting document(s) that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.

How to Apply

Download the application form attached to this mail and fill in all portions applicable to you. Attach all supporting documents to the application form and submit them to the Sports Directorate by mail or hand-delivered.

All hard copies should be addressed as stated below:

Submission Deadline

Applications will be opened from 12^th June 2023. All applications should be submitted to the Sports Directorate on or before 30^th June 2023 at 11:59 pm. Late submission of applications will not be considered.
