The Ghana Education Service (GES) Announces to the general public, particularly parents, teachers, and pupils/students of Public KG-Primary/JHS and Second Cycle schools, that the reopening of schools as approved by the Hon. Minister for Education upon the recommendation of the Ministerial Committee on School s Calendar is as follows:

SHS 2: Monday, 30th October, 2024

SHS 1: Sunday, 30th October, 2024

Basic Schools Reopening Dates

JHS 1-3: September 10, 2024

Primary 1-6: September 10, 2024

KG 1-2: September 10, 2024

Second Cycle Schools Vacation Dates

SHS 3: 6th March 2024.

SHS 2: 26th May 2025

SHS 1: 26th May 2025

Basic Schools Vacation Dates

JHS 1-3: December 20, 2024 – January 7, 2025

Primary 1-6: December 20, 2024 – January 7, 2025

KG 1-2: December 20, 2024 – January 7, 2025
