GES Update On SHS1 Students Reporting Date – The Management of Ghana Education Service and TVET institutions is expected to release the Placement of the BECE 2024 Graduates on Friday, 25th October 2024. The Newly posted students, per their enrollment form, are expected to report to their various schools on the 30th of October, 2024.

A situation that has become a worrying one. Most stakeholders called on the GES to reschedule the reporting date to give parents and students ample time to prepare well before they go to school.

To solve the issue, the management of Ghana Education Service has come out to clarify the date and timeline given on the placement form.

According to GES, The 30th of October 2024 is when all SHS 1 students visit their schools to pick prospectuses and complete the necessary registrations and orientations.

Per the academic calendar, there would be Christmas break on the 20th of December 2024 and resume on the 2nd of January to continue academic work till March 2025.
