GIS: Immigration Service Update on Applicants Portal For Aptitude Test:  As you wait for the aptitude test message (SMS) it’s advisable to revisit your GIS Portal to get the gist of what’s happening.

Yesterday, a video interview sighted by our team shows that management of the Ghana Immigration Service is working to update the portal for all applicants who have applied to be recruited into the service.

In that video, the officer categorically stated that applicants who have been disqualified at the screening will not be able to access their portal. A check on the portal confirms that indeed there have been some changes to the portal.

There is an update going on the portal to show all applicants their current status in the GIS 2021 recruitment.

If you’ve checked your portal and have an issue understanding the current state of your application, then this article is here to clarify things for you.

We are going to give explanations to the nearest meaning of what the portal summary reports are on all the 2021 Ghana Immigration service applicants.

Applicants Not Selected

All applicants who have not been selected from the application stage will still see the disqualification status written on their portal. This means they’ve not been called for screening neither will they be called for the aptitude tests.

An example of such applicants can be seen in the image below. This applicant was disqualified from the application stage. And when we check the details, the summary still shows“Not selected”.

Applicants Selected

All those selected for screening will see something like the image below on their portal. The selected notice will vanish. This means management is working to update the portal for all trainees who have successfully gone through the screening exercise.

These applicants have gone through the screening and waiting to be shortlisted for the aptitude test. The management will soon update the portal to show these applicants their current status. That’s whether they have been further selected for the aptitude test or not.

So if you have access to your portal and have any of the above screens on the portal, then by now you should know your status and wait for further directives from the immigration service.

Please don’t cause fears and panic to yourself. If you check and nothing shows, it means you have an issue with your connection, or the portal is down at that movement. Trust the process and wait for the SMS.
