How to Apply For The NABCO -NBSSI MasterCard Young African Works Programme
The NBSSI MasterCard Foundation Young African Works Programme comes into two categories. The Service Provider and Beneficiary. The Service Providers are those who are specialized in their own fields ( Business Development Service -BDS Providers and Skilled Crafts People -SCP). The Beneficiaries are those who want to learn a skill, developed their existing skills, or need seed funding for their business. There are three (3) levels in which one can be a beneficiary of the NBSSI MasterCard Young Africans Works programme.

- Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) – All NABCO Trainees Falls here.
- Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E)
- MSME Business Acceleration (MBA)
Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE): To equip unemployed youth to innovate, create and become entrepreneurs. (All NABCO trainees Falls under this Category)
MSME Business Acceleration (MBA): To accelerate the growth of Women-Owned and Led MSMEs.
NBSSI’s Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E): Provide unemployed young women and men, with a direct pathway to employment and income generation opportunities through vocational/technical skills training alongside entrepreneurship development.
Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE)
Through Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE), skilled but unemployed young men and women will receive the training and support needed to start their own businesses and become innovative entrepreneurs.
Requirements & Eligibility:
Applicant must be:
– Must be skilled (tertiary or vocational training) and be unemployed.
– 18-35 years and be motivated to become a business owner.,
– Must be resident in Ghana.
MSME Business Acceleration (MBA)
Join our MSME Business Acceleration (MBA) Programme and successfully grow your business. Receive the support that you need to improve your productivity & quality, access to the market, and access to finance.
Requirements & Eligibility:
Applicant must be:
-Women-owned and/or women-led MSMEs.
– Must be 18 years and above.
-Business must be located and operate in Ghana.
-Business must have been in operation for at least one year
NBSSI’s Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E)
NBSSI’s Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E) will provide unemployed young women and men, with a direct pathway to employment and income generation opportunities through vocational/technical skills training alongside entrepreneurship development.
Requirements & Eligibility:
Applicant must be:
– 16–35 years old.
– Must have an interest in vocational/technical training.
– Must be resident in Ghana.
– From any of the 16 Regions in Ghana.
How to Apply for ICE, MBA or A2E -NBSSI Registration Portal login
First Visit the https://nbssi.gov.gh/youngafricaworks/
Once you are on the Homepage, scroll and look for APPLY AS BENEFICIARY and click on the button.
Now you’ll be taken to the page where you have to select your application category as listed above.
As a NABCO trainee, you automatically fall under the ICE category (I have a business idea/ I am interested in entrepreneurship – ICE)
Now select the first option and click on the proceed button to begin your application.
Here, you’ll be required to fill in your:
- Personal Information
- Education Information
- Orientation Information
- Other Information
- Then Preview your application and submit it.
After submitting your application, you’ll be given an Application Number. Make sure to save it because it will be needed later.
Congratulations! You have successfully submitted your application and now you can wait for the selection and further consideration to join the NBSSI MasterCard Foundation Young African Works Programme.
