NABCO and CAGD to Collaborate and Sanitise the Payroll For Trainees Employment

The message clearly indicated that it is criminal to receive stipends while in a permanent job and that anyone found to be doing such will risk a pay freeze once CAGD detects the fraudulent payments.
“Dear CPTP Trainee, It is criminal to receive stipends while in a permanent job. You risk pay freeze once CAGD detects the fraudulent payments. Kindly Decline from your NABCO portal if you have already gained permanent employment.”
An update sighted by our team indicated that the Chief Executive Officer for the Nation Builders Corps, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars was at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).

Yesterday, 14 July 2021, the Chief Executive Officer for the Nation Builders Corps, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars was at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).
The visit was to enhance and strengthen the collaboration between the two departments of the state. Among others, we discussed collaboration required to sanitise the payroll of NABCO, and collaboration on fund releases and payments.
As we approach the exit milestone for the current cohort of NABCO trainees, effective cross-sectoral measures are being explored to assist with the future employability of the trainees.
He was accompanied by the Director of Finance, an officer from the IT unit, and the Public Relations Officer.
