This process continues until the recent closure of all educational institutions until further notice by the president of Ghana.

Trainees under the Educate Ghana Module of the NABCO flagship programme are on break and this means they will find difficulty in filling their monthly timesheet, most especially the Month of MAY  because they’re at home for the whole month.

If you are a trainee under this module, then we are going to take you through the process of filling in the timesheet for the month. So without wasting further time, let’s dive into the process.

As we know every year, G.E.S comes out with the whole year’s academic calendar. This calendar will list all the activities that the schools across the country are supposed to Carry on, including the various vacation and reopening dates for the schools in the country.

So from our confrontation with most of the teachers/headmasters, it indicated that, From the 2020 academic calendar drawn by G.E.S, schools were supposed to close on the 9th of April 2020 and Opens on the 5th of May 2020.

So from the above, a trainee under the educate Ghana module can use the underlying dates to guide them fill in the may timesheet.

If you can recall, in our first article on how to download, fill and upload timesheet, we made mention that, when filling in the timesheet, you start from the 22nd of the previous month to the 21st of the current month.

Now with the ‘MAY Timesheet’, when filling it, the 22nd of April will still fall under the vacation period and until 5th May. So to start with, you will only have to TICK the Vacation section on the Timesheet starting from 22d April to 4th May, but taking note of the Weekends.

Once you TICK the vacation and reach up to the 4th May, in which 5th May was supposed to be the reopening date for the Schools in the country, you then start TICKING the Holiday section on the timesheet.

This is because, even though you were supposed to reopen on that date, but because of the closing of all schools in Ghana, you are deemed to be on holiday.

In the end, you will not have to write anything on the ‘TIME IN’ and ‘TIME OUT’ on the timesheet.
