Earlier this week, There was a message circulating on social media concerning the new NABCO recruitment. There was a rumor that the NABCO portal has been opened for new applicants to apply.

Prospective applicants, who are either graduates with just ended National Service Scheme (NSS) or have previously applied for the NABCO programme and are still on the pending list.

The news of this new recruitment was far spread which needed attention. It has now come to the attention of the NABCO team and that, they must give an official statement on that to either confirm or denied. See their official release below.

“Nation Builders Corps is not recruiting new trainees. Kindly ignore messages circulating that the Nation Builders Corps Secretariat has opened the portal for new recruitment for 2020/2021. That message is NOT coming from the NABCO Secretariat.

Recruitments, updates, and all other information shall be published on our official website and social media handles.”

From the above release, it can be seen that there was no new recruitment ongoing and this means all the information circulating was false.

Information gathered from some of the stakeholders and model implementors of the NABCO Flagship programme is that New Applicants should expect NABCO’s new recruitment after 2020.

Meanwhile, the NABCO career pathways transition portal is still opened and scheduled to end on Sunday 20th December 2020.

Trainees who couldn’t finish their application can still log in and complete it before the said date.
