NSS 2023/2024 Postings Released: See How to Check Here: The Management of National Service Scheme (NSS) has today, Friday 29th September 2023 deployed a total of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-TWO THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE (122,275) graduates from accredited tertiary institutions who enrolled for the 2023/2024 national service to various user agencies across the country.

Prospective service personnel should log on to the scheme’s website http://www.portal.nss.gov.gh to confirm the specifics of their placements before visiting their respective user agencies to endorse their letters of appointment.

Management wishes to inform the general public that, some prospective service personnel have been placed on hold for further verification due to discrepancies detected in their online registration details.

Notifications have already been sent to the affected personnel and they are hereby directed to visit any regional office of the scheme with a copy of the enrolment forms, student ID, any national ID, and a soft copy of their passport picture saved with their NSS number as full name to clear them for posting.

To ascertain the status of your National Service NSS Posting, specifically your Place of Placement, please refer to the following instructions to access the corresponding list:

Access the National Service NSS Posting Portal by visiting the website https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting.
Please input your National Service Scheme (NSS) Number, such as NSSGWD100203, into the designated field.
Now, Click on the Search button and wait for the pop-up window to open with your Posting Information.
If posted, your Place of posting will be displayed for you together with the appointment letter.

Regional Office/ Zonal Registration Process

To minimize excessive crowds at the registration centers, all posted national service personnel are required to schedule an appointment online and visit the registration centers on the scheduled date and time for validation with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocol guidelines.

The process of printing appointment letters by service personnel and getting endorsements from respective user agencies is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 16, 2023.

The process of validation and registration at regional centres nationwide is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 23, 2023, and will extend through FRIDAY, December 29, 2023. This timeframe has been established to accommodate individuals aspiring to join the service who have not yet fulfilled the requirements of their academic programmes.

It is important to note that posting registration should be completed by Friday, December 29, 2023. Management further directs all graduates who have been duly posted and accepted by their user agencies to begin their national service even as they undergo the validation exercise.
