The 2021 Population and Housing Census programme are scheduled to begin in June 2o21. The programme is expected to last for some months and many are those who apply to take part in the exercise.

For the past few weeks, there was an ongoing zoom meeting by the Officials of the Ghana Statistical Service, this meeting/training was to help the regional trainers (Field Officers for the 2021 PHC) have much understanding of the PHC 2021 so they can also impact the knowledge of the District enumerators and supervisors.

After series of zoom meetings, the officials decided to create an online learning platform to help participants login and learn at their comfort.

The Learning Management System (LMS) is the primary platform for the virtual (non-live) training of all field officers of the 2021 Population and Housing Census. All the training modules and other
supplementary materials have been made accessible through the LMS to field officers. The LMS
recognizes two categories of users, namely, trainees and facilitators.

When the portal link was given, there seem to be some challenges. Most of the participants couldn’t login to the portal to begin the learning. After series of complaints, there comes a solution.

The management has decided to create an online form in other to get the details of those who couldn’t login to the self-learning platform so they will know the way forward for these persons. If you are one of those having challenges, you can go ahead and fill the form from the below link.

On the form, you are required to select your Region, Then enter your First name, Last Name, and Other Name.

With Regards to the Other Name, you can choose to enter NILL, if you have only two names. But those with Three Name can enter the other Name.

Also, you will be asked to indicate if you will be available for the exercise and finally ask to indicate the challenge, that’s if you’ve ever tried to login to the platform.
