President Akufo Addo to Address NABCO Trainees On the Permanent Job Agenda

As the NABCO Programme three year contract is coming to an end, NABCO trainees all over the country have started calling for permanent jobs.

The Leadership of these trainees (NABTAG) some months back sends a petition through the Ashanti regional minister to the president of the Republic of Ghana, to revise the terms of engagement to the height of permanency as they journeyed close to the expiration of the existing contract.

In the petition submitted, NABTAG made it clear that NABCO trainees nationwide have worked diligently in their respective institutions of placement, and their MIPs have seen the immense contribution to the institutions and for that matter, they are looking to be made permanent workers in those institutions.

NABCO trainees nationwide have worked diligently in their respective institutions of placement. All the seven(7) Modules have yielded a positive impact across the country and must accord a symbolic commendation to the nation builders, who through their sweat have contributed immensely to the growth of the nation. Unemployment has been a bane of our existence, thus, we believe upgrading the existing contract to permanent employment would be quintessential to alleviating your unemployment.

When the Petition was submitted to the Ashanti Regional Ministers office, the Minister subsequently forwarded the Petition letter to the Presidency waiting for the president’s reply to these trainees.

Two months after the Petition letter was forwarded to the presidency, the president has finally decided to address the NABCO trainees comes 22nd September 2020 at the Academy of Art and Sciences.

The Update/Address as seen from the flyer with the Inscription “Nationa Building Update” and Theme “Leadership that delivers the youth” was meant to address most issues concerning  NABCO, NSS, NYEA, among others.

It’s worth noting that, This update will be covered on the Major National TV Channels. All NABCO Trainees are encouraged to watch the update in other to see the way forward of NABCO.
