No ‘DEMO’ in Nabco, Said Coalition of NABCO Trainees (CONAT)
For the past few days, there have been some rumors in most of the NABCO platforms regarding a demonstration that some cross-section of NABCO trainees are planning to organized.
According to some trainees, the demonstration is expected to be spearheaded by the leadership of ‘CONT’ (Coalition of NABCO Trainees). This they say is to show their disappointment to the NABCO officials and the government over the delay in the payment of their December 2020 stipends.
Now an official circular has been released by the leadership of CONT debunking such DEMO allegation tired against them.
That “CONAT has been non-partisan as we’ve always advised Trainees to remain neutral, focus on the opportunities given to them, and disassociate from illicit and unproductive voices that cast aspersions, vilify insults on Presidential candidates, and Political parties to plant division among Nabco Trainees.”
See the full details of the circular released by CONAT concerning the said Demonstration.
OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE 1/09/2021
COALITION OF NABCO TRAINEES, CONAT
No DEMO in Nabco. Such Circular is a Hatchet Job by Hoodlums who wish to deceptively capitalize on that to exhume the carcass of their Disgraceful, Unrecognizable Reputation.
We do extend warm greetings to all NABCO trainees and the friends of the Media.
CONAT attention has been drawn to a fake circular and media feeds crafted in the name of COALITION OF NABCO TRAINEES to embark on a nationwide demonstration on January 11 over unpaid allowances.
We appeal to all NABCO trainees and the media to disregard such impotent feeds. As it stands now, the position and mild progress of the Scheme do not warrant any justifiable cause or grounds for any group or whatsoever to embark on Demonstration, let alone hoodlums trying to resuscitate their dead reputation by dragging the Coalition into disrepute.
We wish to notify the public that CONAT’s focus in the Year 2021 is entirely distant from Demonstrations but dialogue, negotiations, and the quest to neutrally leverage on the current political terrain to achieve permanent jobs for Trainees.
Congratulation to NPP and NDC for the win-win contest. We are confident that since both parties had good wishes for Nabco Trainees, they will collectively work together to secure a sustainable future for Trainees.
CONAT has been non-partisan as we’ve always advised Trainees to remain neutral, focus on the opportunities given to them, and disassociate from illicit and unproductive voices that cast aspersions, vilify insults on Presidential candidates, and Political parties to plant division among Nabco Trainees.
We respect the corporate tranquility and therefore urge all Trainees and the media to contact CONAT Team on any feeds they come across on the Media.
