During the Anniversary celebration, The NABCO Skills and Talent Academy(NSTA) was launched. The NSTA is a learning and human capital development portal for trainees to acquire new skills; upskilling & reskilling talents.

These skills development tools in addition to the trainee’s workplace practical skills acquired are to enable every trainee transition through the following exit pathways: Retention, Entrepreneurship, and Further Learning.

After successfully celebrating the one-year anniversary in Accra, the NABCO CEO together with the MIPs Decided to embark on the NSTA Roadshow to all 16 Regions of the country.

Speaking at the NSTA Roadshow at Damango in the Savannah Region, NABCO CEO (DR. Anyars) Reminded the Benerficiarues to put seriousness into the work and that the aim of the government is not to share free GHS 700.00 to Trainees but rather help build them for the future career.

In a video sighted by our team, The CEO was seen talking to the trainees gathered at the Damango Senior High School Hall and that, the government’s interest is not to have 100,000 trainees, put them together and share ghs700.00 to them.

That, if the scheme was about sharing Ghc700.00,  a lot of people would not have been able to enter the programme because there are equally other Ghanaian citizens who probably are stronger and more or better qualified to have been earning that 700 Ghana cedis.

According to him, the scheme is about investing in the trainees and the only way each trainee can account for the amount spent on him is to have historic growth. That from the point that you entered NABCO, something good has happened in your life.

He also added that, as a trainee, you should not be remembered for the wrong reason.  But rather focus on branding yourself for future job opportunities.
