Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) welcomes all first-year students as school opens officially today, Thursday 18th March 2021.

As per the new academic, first-year students in some schools will run a double-track calendar. Even though they are all reopening together, the management of various schools will inform students of their various tracks while on campus. The list of double-track schools will be uploaded on our website www.ges.gov.gh in due course.

DOUBLE TRACK CALENDAR

The first year double-track schools will observe the following calendar

First Semester

Green Track: 18th March to 25th June 2021

Gold Track: 18th March to May 2021

Second Semester

Green Track: 1st September to 18th December 2021
Gold track: 30th June to 18 December

SINGLE TRACK CALENDAR

it must be noted that not all schools will run double track. In the light of this, the single-track schools will observe the following calendar for the year.

First Semester

18th March to 25th June 2021

Second Semester

1st September to 18th December 2021

Management takes the opportunity to advise the first year to study hard and eschew all forms of social vices. Be mindful of the adherence of Covid 19 protocols put in place and do not hesitate to contact school authorities should there be any challenges.
